Министр иностранных дел Великобритании Филипп Хэммонд в интервью телеканалу Sky News заявил, что президент РФ Владимир Путин ведет себя как «тиран».
«Этот человек (это он про Путина) послал свои войска через международную границу и оккупировал территорию другой страны в 21 веке, действуя как какой-нибудь тиран из XX века. Цивилизованные народы не ведут себя так», – заявил министр.
Не преминул господин Хэммонд упомянуть и о Крыме, который, по его мнению, должен быть отдан Украине – он так и сказал: «Это должно быть отменено» – это он о народном волеизъявлении крымчан.
А еще Хэммонд он сказал, что «британские власти пока не рассматривали возможность поставки оружия Украине. Но если ситуация будет меняться», пригрозил он, что Великобритания станет «дополнительно рассматривать этот вопрос».
Да уж, словодлудничать британцы явно не разучились.
Я вот токмо не пойму – как это себя цивилизованные страны не ведут в 21 веке? А-а, понял, по цивилизованному – это собрать коалицию, разбомбить с безопасного расстояния гражданские объекты и города, уничтожить важные военные объекты (такие как школы, детсады, электростанции, мосты, водокачки), потом ввергнуть страну в хаос и ввести свои войска в столицу и крупнейшие города. Ну, попутно присвоив заводы, нефтяные скважины и другие вкусные объекты.
Именно так себя цивилизованные страны и ведут. Как, например, Великобритания, которая бомбила мирных жителей в Югославии и Ливии, оккупировала вместе с США Ирак и Афганистан.
А Путин конечно, тиран тираном – вместо бомб на голову организовал референдум в Крыму, даже крови там не пролил ни капли, беженцев из Украины принимает тысячами, гуманитарные колонны одну за другой шлет. Ясно дело – как это в 21 веке и без крови и бомб? Безобразие!
И Крым, конечно, взад надо вернуть – крымчане же собственность Украины, в 21 веке рабовладение должно быть обратно введено, по мнению Британии. В конце концов именно британские джентльмены работорговлю в конвейер в 16-17 веках превратили, что им стоит опять начать? Дело то привычное и знакомое. Тем более Крым благодарная хунта тут же американцам отдаст, а те и британцам свой кусок кости кинут.
А вообще спасибо мистеру Хэммонду – теперь мы лучше себе представляем, что значит «тиран», а что такое «цивилизованные страны» в британском и американском понимании.
Ukraine: Putin "Like A Mid-20th Century Tyrant"

Philip Hammond says the Russian leader will have to "trim his behaviour" as sanctions are hitting his country’s ailing economy.
Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond has accused Vladimir Putin of acting like a "mid-20th century tyrant" over Ukraine.
Mr Hammond also told Sky’s Murnaghan programme that UK’s bar on supplying weapons to Kiev would be "kept under review".
"Britain’s position is that at the moment we do not think that supplying arms is the right thing to do but obviously if the situation on the ground changes we’ll keep that position under review," he said.
And he insisted Western sanctions were having an impact.
Mr Hammond said: "When coupled with the catastrophic effect on the Russian economy of the decline in the oil price they are putting pressure on the Kremlin.
"Putin is toughing this out but we all know in the end the economic facts cannot be ignored.
"If your economy is cratering you cannot support the kind of foreign adventures Putin is undertaking.
"He will have to trim his behaviour to reflect the decline in the Russian economy."
The Foreign Secretary branded Moscow’s annexation of Crimea illegal and said it must be reversed.
He said: "This man has sent troops across an international border and occupied another country’s territory in the 21st century acting like some mid-20th century tyrant. Civilised nations do not behave like that.
"We do not see any reason to tolerate this kind of outrageous and outdated behaviour from the Kremlin."
Meanwhile, the leaders of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine are due to hold a summit in Minsk on Wednesday in a bid to halt the bloody conflict, which has claimed the lives of more than 5,000 people since April.

The Foreign Secretary also held out the prospect that Britain would provide arms for Ukraine, saying only that the UK would not supply weapons “at the moment”.
Vladimir Putin is acting like a “mid-20th century tyrant” over Ukraine, Britain’s foreign secretary Philip Hammond has said.
Mr Hammond also said that Ukraine’s forces could not defeat Russia’s army on the battlefield and that only a political solution could end the bloodshed.
He held out the prospect that Britain would provide arms for Ukraine, saying only that the UK would not supply weapons “at the moment”.
The intervention came as German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande are in talks with Mr Putin, the Russian President, about a plan to end fighting between government and rebel forces.
He told Sky News’ Murnaghan programme: “Ukrainians can’t beat the Russian army, that’s not a practical proposition. There has to be a political solution.

We live in a rules-based society, we want the Russian people to be part of that international community, we want Russia to enjoy the kind of economic growth and rising standards of living that people in the rest of Europe enjoy and we do not see any reason to tolerate this outrageous and outdated behaviour from the Kremlin.”
Washington is understood to be considering arming rebel Ukranian force. Mr Hammond also said there were no immediate plans for the UK to follow suit.
He said: “At the moment, we do not think that supplying arms is the right thing to do.”
